Trails of various lengths and difficulty wind across the plains or take you up to green vineyards, all the way to the idyllic Goričko hills, an area protected as part of the Natura 2000 network, where you can delight in the pristine nature of the Motvarjevski forest, wetlands, and habitats of the poet’s daffodil.

The E7 European long-distance path is an international footpath that goes through various European countries; it starts at the Atlantic, then goes through the Mediterranean region and Lake Garda to southern Hungary. The Slovenian part of the E7 path is also called Naprudnik’s Trail, and goes from the Soča River to the Mura River. The total length of the path in Slovenia is approximately 600 km and requires 30 days of walking.
The Pomurje Hiking Trail is one of the oldest hiking trails in Slovenia. It starts and ends in Murska Sobota and is 342 km long. The trail was designed in 1962.
The first eight stages, which together make up the route, run through the Goričko hills. The total walking time is about 22 hours.
The Great Saint Martin European Cultural Route (Latin: Via Sancti Martini) connects those places associated with the life and work of the most famous saint in Europe, St. Martin.
The Saint Martin European Route runs from Tours in France to Szombathely in Hungary, covering a total distance of 2,500 km. Saint Martin was born in Szombathely, in the former Roman settlement of Savaria, and he died in Tours.
The route that leads from Szombathely (Hungary) to Tours (France) was declared a European Cultural Route by the Council of Europe in 2005.
